The Light

Black and white charcoal on black paper. The lighting was from below in a darkened room, I completed this at the end of 2012.

commented this piece , which reminded me of my dramatic lighting project from a couple of years ago. I really loved working on this project, it was different than anything else I had done at that point. Also, I really loved getting to work with charcoal for this project. The picture was a good start for charcoal because it wasn't too detailed.
